Our latest book, Analytical No-Limit Hold ’em: Crushing Mid‑Stakes Short‑Handed Games by Thomas Bakker is now available and can be ordered directly from our Two Plus Two store. The initial reaction has been quite positive and we at Two Plus Two feel it is an excellent book that meets all our publishing standards. There are also a couple of threads on our Books and Publications Forum for those of you who are interested in learning a little more about this title.
As usual, and this seems to be a monthly entry in these publishing notes, work is still being done on the Two Plus Two e-books. We’re hoping to now have them available in our Two Plus Two Store no later than the third week in January, and this will include downloads for those of you who have already purchased an e-book from us. We’ve done a fair amount of testing and basically everything is working, but the epub files are getting tweaked for faster opening in the readers and the PDFs are getting tweaked for ease of viewing graphics and formulas. Once this is finished, we’ll have 13 titles ready to go (though they may get offered in the store one at a time as soon as each individual title is ready) and then we’ll add a couple of additional books including Harrington on Online Cash Games and Analytical No-Limit Hold ’em. (But don’t expect these additional titles for at least a few more months.)
We’ve been talking to Huntington Press who publishes the Las Vegas Advisor in the hopes of getting them to participate in our Las Vegas Lifestyle Forum, and I’m happy to announce that we have come to a tentative agreement. These are the people who know what’s going on in Las Vegas better than virtually anyone. So we hope to have more information available soon, including how to get a subscription to the Las Vegas Advisor which includes their incredibly valuable coupon book.
And finally, we’re working on a new book. It’s called The Intelligent Poker Player and the author is Philip Newall. We hope to have it available by late March or early April, and as for what’s it’s about, here’s a preliminary Table of Contents — all page number will change when book is published.
