Work is proceeding right on schedule for our next book Harrington on Online Cash Games; 6-Max No-Limit Hold ’em by Dan Harrington and Bill Robertie. In fact, the manuscript has already been delivered to our printer for what is known as "prepress" work and the index is now also being worked on. So, assuming we can stay on schedule, the book should become available sometime during the second half of this month. We’ll keep everyone informed.
Also, our Two Plus Two Store currently has the book available for pre-publication ordering with a pretty good discount from the suggested retail price of $39.95. (I won’t list the store price here since that is always subject to change.) For those of you who want to get this book quickly once it is released, our store will be the first to have it and ordering through them will be the fastest way to get it.
Next to mention is our Two Plus Two Party which is being held this year at Aria Hotel and Casino. There are two days of events including the annual buffet dinner (open to all registered 2+2er’s) on July 4 which will be accompanied by lots of poker games. For those of you who still don’t have all the information, please go to our Las Vegas Lifestyle Forum where there is the "Fifth Annual 2+2 WSOP Party" thread as well as an "RSVP Thread for 2+2 WSOP Party." And if you do plan to come, please indicate in the RSVP thread your intention to do so.
I also want to take a moment and mention our "Poker Site and Affiliate Support Forums" as well as our "Poker Coaching Forums." Two Plus Two is a free service for our users and is supported purely through advertising revenue. So, it’s important to us to have these forums and we hope that if you haven’t yet dropped in on some of them that you get a chance to do so.
Also, we have recently started two new forums in this area. The first is the "Poker Coach Listings Forum" where poker coaches can have a thread and promote their private coaching service, and the second is the "Commercial Marketplace Forum" where companies or individuals with a small business can get a thread to promote their products. Information on how these forums work and the fees involved are available on each forum.
Finally, I should be around some of the Las Vegas cardrooms during the WSOP and will probably have the opportunity to talk to many of you. But let me also take this moment to wish everyone who comes to Las Vegas for the WSOP and other tournaments that will be going on the best of luck in these events.
