There are three important items to address this issue. The first is our yearly party which will be held on July 3rd and 4th at the Aria Hotel and Casino. Notice that unlike previous years, we are scheduled to go for two days. On "Saturday, July 3 there will be a cocktail party followed by at least one multi‑table tournament (game and format TBA). Sunday, July 4th, features a dinner buffet, cocktails, and the legendary low‑stakes mixed game extravaganza that we have been waiting an entire year for."
For those of you who have not yet been to the Aria, it’s a spectacular hotel casino complex and is part of the new City Center development on the Las Vegas strip. There’s even a special room rate 2+2 members and our PokerCast crew will be there producing their yearly PokerCast Two Plus Two Party show.
Adam Altwies, the Aria Poker Room manager has assured us that they will be going all out and that this will be a great event. So if you’re interested, there’s more information in in the Las Vegas Lifestyle forums: 5th Annual 2+2 WSOP Party - Aria Hotel and Casino and if you plan to come, please RSVP in the RSVP for 2+2 WSOP Party thread.
Also, if you plan to reserve a room, contact Kathleen Paculan at 702‑590‑7232.
Second, work continues on our new book Harrington on Online Cash Games; 6-Max No-Limit Hold ’em by Dan Harrington and Bill Robertie. We’re shooting for a June 15, 2010 release date, but we still have a lot to do, so don’t hold us to that exact date if we don’t quite make it. Again, as previously mentioned, this text will be approximately 600 pages and our retail price will be $39.95. But you can make a prerelease purchase of it right now from our 2 + 2 Store for $31.96 plus there is an additional 5 percent discount available by using the code "6MAXS5."
And finally, for those of you who have purchased any of our e-books, and for those of you considering doing so, we promised that there would be a download capability to the new reader devices such as an Amazon Kindle or a Barnes & Noble Nook. Well, we’re not yet ready to go, but I have been informed that progress is being made in this area. So hopefully in the not too distant future this capability will be there, and it will be available for all of you who have already bought one of our e-books as well to those who are planning to do so.
