Our latest book,DUCY? by David Sklansky and Alan Schoonmaker Ph.D. has been released. For those who don’t know, this is not a poker book but rather more of a self-help guide based on the type of statistical logic thinking that David is known for. Topics range from many subjects including David’s years advising Las Vegas casino owner, the late Bob Stupak, to getting a better price on a car, to money as measurement, to common business math mistakes, to lots of other subjects. All-in-all, it’s a book designed to help everyone think better and the initial reviews and reaction to it from posters on our website has been quite favorable. For those interested, it can be purchased at our Two Plus Two Store. There are even a few autographed copies available. For non-US readers, this book is also available as a free bonus in the Two Plus Two Poker Book Bonus program.
Our next title will be the next Harrington book. As most of you already know, it will feature the no-limit six-max games that are played on the Internet and we are already getting lots of requests for it. Dan and Bill tell me to expect the initial manuscript the first week of March, and then assuming we stay on schedule, the book should be released around the beginning of May. However, these things always seem to have a way of taking a little longer to produce than originally thought, so don’t hold us to the early May publication date. I’ll keep everyone informed right here in future Publisher’s Notes and on our Books and Publications Forum.
Other than this, there’s not much else to report this month. We’ve been keeping real busy at our office and are working on a number of interesting things, but we’re not ready to announce anything yet. So I’ll cut this note a little short and be back next month.
