Yes, there will be a new book by David Sklansky (and Alan Schoonmaker). But it’s not a poker book or even a book about gambling. It’s a book of many of David’s unique ideas applied to the real world, and the book’s title is: DUCY? And I’m sure a few of our posters will want to get it just for the title alone. Anyway, we’re currently finishing up the manuscript and expect to have it available in late January 2010.
We also are expecting to receive the manuscript for the next Harrington book, which will feature six-max no-limit games as they are played on the Internet, by the end of this year. This means if everything goes as expected, we should have the book available in either late March or early April 2010. But, as usual, expect some flexibility with this date.
We have also been working away at converting our best selling books to digital form and are pleased to announce that we now have thirteen of our best selling titles available as e-books from our Two Plus Two Store. If you want to know more, just click on our Two Plus Two e-book page.
Also, for those interested in our newest published book, Pot-Limit Omaha: Understanding Winning Play by William Jockusch, there’s a terrific interview with the author on our Two Plus Two PokerCast: Episode 98. For those of you interested in pot-limit Omaha, Mike and Adam do a great job, with a little help from our author William Jockusch, explaining what this book is about.
The next topic to mention is that the increase in website traffic continues to be simply astounding. We have now had our first 30,000 post day, have reached the 1 million unique visitors a month mark as well as 4 million visits a month, and are approaching 50 million page views a month. These are numbers which even a short time ago we didn’t think we would achieve and now it appears that we can expect even more growth than what we have seen these past few months.
And finally, I want to take a moment and congratulate our new World Champion Joe Cada for a job well done. We also have a PokerCast interview with our new champion on PokerCast: Episode 97 - WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada.
