There are two things occurring that I wish to mention this month. The first is that Adam Schwartz of Two Plus Two Pokercast fame has started something called Internet Pokers Wall of Fame (IPWOF):
The idea is to recognize those people who have made significant contributions to Internet Poker and each week on the show, Terrence Chan and Adam will induct a new member to the hallowed drywall of the IPWOF. I think it’s a great idea and hope that lots of you participate in the suggestion thread.
The second announcement has to do with a new book called Real Poker Psychology that I am writing. Since I just happen to own the publishing company, Two Plus Two Publishing will give it top priority in getting it out. Many of you know that I’m a mathematician, but my knowledge of real psychology is close to nil. So I feel that this makes me uniquely qualified to write this book since I won’t get caught up in many of the silly things that the current crop of poker psychologists seem to get caught up in.
Anyway, we’re hoping to have Real Poker Psychology out by the end of the year and for those interested, there’s already a lively thread on our Books and Publications Forum in which both myself and David Sklansky have participated in.
